Urgent Care

Urgent care is best utilized for treatment of an illness or injury that requires prompt attention, but does not pose an immediate, serious health threat. Unlike most emergency room visits, MEDSource One insures that professional and personal care is administered quickly, even without an appointment.

We provide a cost-effective, time saving alternative for the following situations:
•  Allergies                           •  Insect bites
•  Minor asthma attacks         •  Nausea
•  Cold, flu or fever               •  Minor burns
•  Cough                              •  Minor lacerations/cuts
•  Dizziness                          •  Pink eye
•  Rash                                •  Sore throat
•  Sprains/strains                  •  Stitches

MEDSource One participates with an extensive list of personal health insurance providers. If we participate in your health plan, we will file a claim with your provider. In the event there is an outstanding balance once the insurance company has satisfied its responsibility, you would be billed for the remainder of the amount.

If MEDSource One is not a participant in your health plan, we will still file the claim for you; however, payment is required at time of service, and you will be issued a refund if we receive payment from your provider. Often times, out-of-network benefits can be as favorable as in-network benefits, so you will want to talk to your insurance provider.

In most instances, you will not need a referral to see one of our expert physicians. If you need a referral from your Primary Care Physician (PCP) prior to being seen at MEDSource One, you will need to obtain it prior to being seen in our office. Please contact your insurance provider to find out if you need a referral.

Consider MEDSource One for these additional health care needs for you and your family:
•  School physicals (day care, school age, college)
•  Sports physicals
•  Work-permit physicals
•  Immigration physicals
