Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

According to the U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO): “Injured workers are much more likely to undergo successful rehabilitation and return to work if rehabilitation is started soon after the injury.”

This expedited therapy reduces not only the cost of rehabilitation but also lost productivity. Unfortunately, the GAO also found that less than 17% of injured workers are referred to rehabilitation within seven months. Furthermore, approximately 50% wait three years before they are referred. (For more information go to http://www.gao.gov)

Even prompt physical rehabilitation is only effective if the program is focused on the physical deficit(s) that prevent the injured worker from performing the essential functions of his job. MEDSource One Therapy provides rehabilitation both in our clinical facility, as well as through a network of rehabilitation providers. Your employees receive care that is not only the best available, but that is also the most effective in returning them back to work.

Our rehabilitation staff provides services that evaluate the employees’ physical abilities after an injury has occurred, but they also, through education and training, work with the injured worker to prevent future occupational accidents and illnesses.
