Flu season is just around the corner, which means it is time to register for the MEDSource One / CrystalWorks 2008-09 Flu Vaccination Program!

Why sponsor workplace flu shots?
Influenza related costs are a result of:
- absenteeism, replacement & overtime costs
- interruption of service and/or product delivery
- lost or reduced sales and productivity
- health benefit costs

The flu virus thrives in the typical office environment, and will infect almost one in four workers each winter. Each victim will be absent for 3-5 days, and individual productivity can be adversely affected for up to two weeks following an infection. Each infected employee will pass the virus to coworkers, family members, and their community at large, including vulnerable high risk individuals. A single vaccination dramatically improves anyone's chances for a flu free winter, and can contribute significant financial savings to participating companies.

We will be offering the flu vaccines in our Valley View and Akron clinics, as well as on-site at employer locations in the Cleveland area. Due to staffing, we are unable to offer the onsite program in Summit and Medina counties.

Costs for the flu vaccination program is as follows:
MEDSource One – in clinic vaccinations $20.00 per shot
CrystalWorks – in clinic vaccinations $15.00 per shot*
Travel / Staff Fee – onsite vaccinations** $50.00 per hour, including travel time

* CrystalWorks is able to offer this reduced rate because of a special offered for that clinic in its first year by the vaccine vendor.
**On-site vaccinations only available in the Cleveland area.

If your company would like to participate in the flu vaccination program this year, please complete the registration form to the right and fax back to us at (216) 642-7945. We will then mail you informational fliers for your company’s use, as well as in-clinic vouchers that your employees will need to arrive with to receive the discounted rate. We can bill your company directly or collect at time of service from the employee.
